Happy Halloween!

Halloween is one of those holidays that's really for adults, but we pretend it's for the kids. At least it is when you have kids under the age of 4. Seriously, you dress your kiddos up, and walk with them door to door so they can get as much sugar and un-healthy crap as possible. How much of that candy is Max and Ava actually going to eat? I don't know, but I can tell you this, not as much as Jenny :)

Either way, we had a blast trick or treating with the Millards and Medskers. And all the kids looked so freakin' cute, that I had to share my pics, and share them right away :)

As of late September we had absolutely no clue what we wanted our kids to dress up as this year. If Ava had a choice, she would have picked "Gabba, Gabba", but since they don't make Gabba, Gabba costumes, we found her USC cheerleading outfit Papa bought her for Christmas. Then, Jenny decided to spend some dough on a nice USC jersey for Max. And, since they had the whole USC theme going on, I had the brilliant idea to make Lia a football :)
Here's Ava in her new jammies from this morning. She loves new jammies!

Mommy literally "made" Lia into a football 15 minutes before trick or treating time. I think she did a great job, and left no detail out. Since my wife knows all, she even added the 8 stitches (and only 8) that are on an American football. It was definitely not a coincidence or luck, she knows all :)Who loves their little football? Max does!
Don't mess with Max! Especially if your name is Jeremy McClain (Max is ready to bust yo butt)
Ava has spirit...and in case you're wondering, her face says Team Solar :)

Doesn't Josh look like a mischievous little monkey?
Love Eli the LionZoey the Chef (and a happy one at that, or she's just excited for all the candy)

Nate the Lobster (sadly Mike didn't feel like carrying Nathan around in his pot all night)

I tried to tell Eli that Smarties taste better out of the wrapper, but have you ever tried to talk some sense into a lion?

I love this picture!

Max: "I have enough candy, let's go home"
Me: "Are you sure?"
Max: "No, let's go get some more candy first"
Me: "OK"
