It pains me to type this post. Drew is moving, so our monthly random shoots are not possible any longer. We've been doing them for almost 2 years now, and only missed last month (because Jenny unexpectedly flew to Cleveland). So, this is my last monthly random shoot with Drew for awhile :(
I will, be doing other random photo projects (you gotta stay fresh), and I've got a few fun ideas spinning throughout my head, so stay tuned. And, Drew, I wish you the best of luck in Southern California!
So, I bring you, Higginsville, MO. We met some nice people, ate at the fanciest restaurant in town, and learned about frog gigging. Plus, we saw some cool crap, too!

Random Shots, June 2009 Tonganoxie, KS
Every month, Drew and I spend countless hours trying to figure out where we should go for our random shoot. Well, not for the month of June. I have visited a small town we've yet to photograph, and that town goes by the name of Tonganoxie. Tonganoxie is really quite an interesting place. In fact, UPS only delivers there on Mondays (I kid). It was totally worth the trip when we stumbled across this really sweet farm :)
They had horses.

Note: Thanks, Kelley for having such a cool farm to take pictures of. And, Sam, your eagle statue is cool, I was just jk'in ya. But, really, the rest of Tonganoxie is a little weird (no offense).

Random Shots, April 2009 - Strasburg, MO
It's been over 18 months now since Drew and I started going shooting to random places, and we haven't missed a month yet. We have cut it a little bit too close the last two months though, by going on the absolute last possible day of the month, and yesterday, I was a little worried that the rain was going to force us to do two in May. Lucky for us, the rain stopped just long enough for us to hit up Strasburg, MO, population 136 or 137, depending on what sign you're looking at...
Strasburg, MO. pop. 136...

or is it 137? That is the world's biggest mystery and I don't think we'll ever find the true answer.

We left Strasburg pondering how many people actually lived there and came across this nice Winnebago.
