So, it's crazy, I know, but yesterday Ava turned 2, and that means that Max turns 4 today! I love my wild little man so freakin' much! These posts are soooo hard for me to write. It really is hard to put into words how you feel about your kids. Plus, every year that I get to write one of these posts also means that we're one year closer to him becoming a man. And I don't want that to happen. I want Max to stay small, stay snuggly, stay innocent (too late for that one), stay the amazing, loving, sweet little boy he is.

I'm telling you Josh - you blink and that 4 year old will be a 7 year old - and so it goes on. You look at them in disbelief at how much they grow and change and turn into these independent, free- thinking individuals, and although not the 'baby' anymore - still wonderful. Your kids will go from wonderful, loving sweet 'babies' to equally wonderful 'big kids'...you and Jenny are wonderful parents raising your kids in a kind and loving home that will have such an amazing impact on who they become. They will be great people just like you guys! But cherish these sweet years too!
