Doggie Pics: Bella the Basset Hound & 5 Doberman Pups

So I had another one of my free doggie sessions this evening, and once again, I'm tired. I was planning on coming home and running after we put the kids to bed, but I'm too sore and got plenty of exercise during the session. Doggies are hard work!

This evening was another first for me. Not only did I get to take pictures of an adorable 2 year old Basset Hound named Bella, but I got to take pictures of 5 Doberman puppies! I also learned a few more things.

1. Basset Hounds have awesome ears (for some reason, I never noticed this before)
2. Puppies are tough, have sharp teeth, like to bite, and are very interested in the camera, so I had to resort to some guerilla tactics to get some sweet shots:)

Dude... your doggie shots are great. I love that you are getting down on their level for most of the shots. Bella the Bassett is a cutie. You just gotta love those ears!

Hey, blog stalker here!

I am a huge dog lover and totally feel you on how hard it is to get good shots of them. I go back and forth between whether dogs or babies are harder. (Still leaning toward babies, though.)

That first picture of the basset on her back legs (begging?) is beyond perfect, and I LOVED the one of the puppies on the frog. I think these are your best doggie pics yet. Great job!

The doggie pics of the bassett and the pups are adorable. I really really love the one of the basset standing on its feet with its hands up. I knew there was a reason why we wanted to get ernie a basset to play with. They are so darn cute!

Hey! My basset hound is also called Bella and she's 18 months. She's absoloutely gorgeous! I've also got a male basset called Dylan. Your pictures are brilliant! :)
