Okay, first off, I apologize to Amber that it's now 12:20 am and I promised that I'd have the blog up by 11. Seriously, if you're still up, please don't be mad at me. These pics are so awesome that it was hard to pick out my favs:)
So, it's late, and I'm shooting a long wedding tomorrow, so, enjoy the pics!
Who wants a piece of Amber after seeing this pick? I sure don't.
But she can get all prettified as well
Flare? Did you ask for some flare?
How about some more flare (and this is one of my favs)
Ohhh, this one is a fav as well, and it has some wicked flare:)
Are you freakin' kidding me? Yeah, that's right, some more flare!
Okay, so Amber's boyfriend helped out on this shoot. I seriously need to hire him to tag along for comic relief, because he had Amber crackin' up when I needed it most:)
I told you, he's good
I love it!
Have I mentioned yet that Amber is in culinary school? Oh, yeah, and she brought some sick knives:)
Look at the size of those knives!
Seriously, look at the size of those knives!
I told you, he's a goof!
Thanks, Amber, for being so patient, and once again, I'm sorry for getting this up so late.
Peace, I'm out!

Graduating: Heather's Amber
I was shopping at Target with Jenny and the kids this morning when I got a call from my good friend Heather Cole asking if I wanted to tag along with her on a senior shoot this afternoon. Of course I said yes! It was actually the first time we had the opportunity to do a portrait session together, and I'm sure it won't be the last. I had a blast!
I did learn a few things about Heather this afternoon:
1. She can "work it out" quite well
2. She not only meows on her blog, but while she's shooting as well, quite often actually:)
So, on to the shoot. Amber was amazing! She had some awesome outfits picked out, the cool breeze didn't bother her at all, and her eyes, wait until you see her eyes:)
Okay, check out her eyes...
Seriously, look at those eyes!
Are you serious??
We found a nice cement block to climb in for some sweet shots
I really liked this next series. Amber was such a sweet, happy girl
Yummy!
Thanks for being such a great sport, Amber. I know when you get a couple of photographers together we can be a little overwhelming at times, but you did great!
And, finally, a big thanks goes out to Heather for inviting me along. It's not very often you get to shoot with such a great photographer, I feel I learned quite a bit. I had a ton of fun! I look forward to shooting again sometime soon:)
And, to end the post, I had to add this shot of Heather climbing out of the cement block. It's amazing to me how many people you can cram in certain places when a photo shoot is going on:)

Remember Zoey
We are going to be doing our first Baby/Kids Fest, the Midwest Kids Fest, here in April (come check us out, we'll be there on Sunday, April 20 only, since we have a wedding on the 19th), and needed some new sample albums yesterday. We are also re-vamping our whole album lineup for our portraits, with some awesome new albums coming in soon (pictures to follow later).
And who better to get model for us than Zoey, Max's bestest friend in the whole wide world. I knew she'd do a great job. So, check them out!
How awesome are those tights?
We had some great sun flare going on!
I love this one
Workin' the model face
But she could only give me the model face for so long, and more flare
Again, with the flare
This is Jenny's fav
Another one of my favorites
I really like this one, it's definitely different, but it's so Zoey, always happy, and never sitting still
Thanks Zoey and Angie for running around in a thorny, muddy field so I could get the shots I need to make an awesome album:)
Doggie Pics: Bridgette the Toy Poodle
Today I met Bridgette, a cute, sweet, scared-of-the-shutter-click toy poodle. We hung out and played for about an hour, and after a while she finally warmed up to my camera. Man, was she cute, though. This session was exciting because it was done indoors, so I had to think about where we played. It also gave me a chance to really push Jenny's new camera, and it performed wonderfully in low light.
Enjoy the pics!
This was one of the first shots I got, before she got scared of the shutter click
Look at that face!
This is one of my faves. Bridgette is looking at me like she's going to rip my head off if I go after her toy:)
I think this one is funny because her baby is almost as big as she is
Bridgette was very good at playing catch
I love catching the dog tongue shots
Bridgette a big Chiefs fan
Thanks for playing with me this afternoon, Bridgette!
