This one is for daddy :)
Last Saturday afternoon, since we didn't have a wedding, we decided to have some of our friends over for a baby pool party and a bbq. Of course, I never put my camera down and here are some of my favorites from the afternoon.

And we even found time for a couple of portraits of the Millard Family. David was the one that talked me and Jenny into doing our first wedding all those years ago. So, for everyone who has loved their wedding pictures, you all have David to thank. If it wasn't for him, I wouldn't be doing what I do right now. Which would be a shame, because taking pictures for a living shouldn't be allowed to be called work.
Last Saturday morning I was nervous. Jenny had to stay home with the kids and left me to do Hilary and Jonathan's engagement by myself. Not that I can't handle it, it's just different, and I have to write the blog. I've noticed that if it doesn't involve my children, I can't write about it very well.
Anyway, we walked around the Plaza for a while and got some great shots. I can't wait until next June for their wedding in Lawrence! So here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.

I’ve been waiting for a long time for tonight’s photo shoot. We finally got to do our second dress trashing, and this time it was with Tara & Ryan. We trekked on up to downtown Smithville, where we walked around town for a little while. Then we headed over to Smithville Lake for some rompin’ in the water. The water felt good since it was so freakin’ hot. We ended the night by stopping by an unfinished house in a new housing development where we found some interesting holes. Overall, it was a blast, and I want to thank Tara & Ryan for being so open to any of our crazy suggestions. I know Ryan had to be uncomfortable in his wet clothes, and Tara tired from lugging her wet dress! Once again, Drew & Selena came with us to capture it all on video. And once again, Jenny decided to keep something from the day’s shoot. Sorry Leslie, we will return your hairspray, and yes, Tara, we will return your sweet red shoes!
So, without further ado, here are some of our favorites!

Last night we headed up to Smithville lake to take some pictures of these awesome kids. We've known these guys forever so it seems (maybe it's really only been 7 years). Anyway, here are a few of my favorites from the shoot.
First up, the baby, Isabella... she's not really a baby anymore though...

And a group shot!
