Engaged: Ashley & Jeff

We had such a fun time with Ashley & Jeff this evening shooting their e-session. We love couples like Ashley & Jeff. You can tell that they are totally in love with each other. They were laughing and goofing off the whole time, which makes it super fun for us. In fact, we used their laughter to fend off the cold :)

Here are some of our favorite images from the session which took place on the William Jewell Campus where they first met.

I love when I say "Get all snuggly" and this happens :)

One of my favs

My favorite image of the day. I asked Jeff to love on Ashley, and this is what he did. I love how you can see the smile on Ashley's face in her eyes :)

Anyone up for a swing?

Please Take Me Home: February 6

Here's another dose of cute-ness from Wayside Waifs

If you see a cutie you like, please head on up there and bring him/her home. You know you want to!

This Great Dane was HUGE!! But he was super sweet.

This was the most cuddly, friendly dog I've ever met. Seriously, if Jenny wouldn't have killed me, this would have been the one from today that would've came home. I think there is one every time I visit :)

Notice the nails. The orange things keep the cat from scratching people. I had no clue they made things like that. I'm still amazed at them and how they even stay on.

It's Dancy Dance Time!

Those that know my kids know that they LOVE Yo, Gabba, Gabba with a passion. They each have a couple of shirts and the second we do their laundry, the next 2 days, they are wearing their Yo Gabba Gabba shirts. Anyway, we were listening to Ava's Yo Gabba Gabba mix cd this morning and I wanted to capture their amazing dancing to share with the world :)

Also, Jenny is at work so this will put a smile on her face, too. And, I'm sorry that it runs a bit long, I have no clue how to edit video. What can I say, I'm a photographer.

Lia gives her approval :)

Pictures of Us!!!!

So, the highlight of our California adventure (for me anyway) was having our family pictures taken by my favorite photographer in the whole world, Nate Kaiser from the Image is Found. Well, please head on over to his blog to check out some of his favorites from our session. I freakin' LOVE, LOVE, LOVE them!!! Especially the one of Ava picking her nose.

Here's one I snagged to get you all excited :)

And, in case you missed it, here's the link again.

Edited to add: When Max saw this image, he says, "That's the biggest palm tree EVER!!"

Married: Krishna & Jason

Ceremony & Reception: Nara Event Space

Well, we are 2 for 2 this January so far. Temperatures in the 60's that is...because yesterday was awfully warm for a January wedding.

Most of the weddings we shoot are big weddings, but Krishna & Jason's was different. There were less than 50 guests and you could tell that they had such a great connection with everyone in the room. So much emotion!

Here are a few of our favorite images from their day.

The Nara Event Space rocks!

Jason's not crying (at least not in this one) it's just eyedrops :)

Eagerly waiting for his bride...

First meeting

It's not too often I get to play with flair during the ceremony...

and the sun added some nice dramatic light as well.

Everyone lost it during the toasts!

Had to do it :)

Again, had to do it :)
